CfPs NordiCHI2022 workshop on impossible experiences in extended reality

Together with Francisco Escobar (Aarhus University), Olivia Petit (Kedge Business School), and Janice Wang (Aarhus University), we are organizing a workshop in NordiCHI2022 (https://conferences.au.dk/nordichi2022) on “Impossible experiences in extended reality”.

Call for papers

In our NordiCHI2022 workshop, we want to create a space for researchers and practitioners that have worked or are interested in working on ‘impossible’ experiences in extended reality. The topics of interest for this workshop include theories, design frameworks, technologies, experiments and experiences, and applications related to impossible experiences. We encourage contributions (e.g., opinion pieces, mini-reviews, original research, projects, new ideas) associated, though not limited, to the following themes:

    • Methods of measurement.
  • New technology and interactions that facilitate immersive impossible experiences.

Key dates and information

Submission deadline: 20th July 2022

Notification to authors: 30th July 2022

The submissions should be up to 2 pages (including references), in the NordiCHI format. Note that at least one author must register to the workshop at latest, one day before it happens.
